9-11 and aftermath divides along racial, economic, social lines

From www.facebook.com/smushpub. Smush debate:  Today marks the 12 year anniversary of the attacks of #NewYork and #WashingtonDC  by hijacked aircraft, known as #911. Over 3000 lives were lost directly due to the fall of the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and Pennsylvania Plane crash, and countless more due to the ensuing war. everyone seem to be affected by the tragedy, and it seemed to unify many. But there was a strong difference between how different groups felt(social, economic, ethnic). Do you think there was a different reaction, understanding, and subsequent support of the actions that followed 9/11 amongst racial, gender, and economic lines?
